What is a Doppler ultrasound?

Doppler ultrasounds are used to evaluate blood flow velocities. The Doppler explores blood flow in arteries and veins.  

Preparation

No preparation is required before a Doppler ultrasound. However, it is recommended to avoid the use of creams or perfumes before the examination.
